Locted in scenic Warren County, N.J. just minutes from the pictuesque Delaware Water Gap & Pocono mountain region our regular shop hours are Thursdays & Fridays from 10:30 to 5:00 & Saturdays from 10:00 to 3:00 or by appointment.
If you are coming from a distance its always best to call first in case we are away at a show & cant get anyone to mind the shop.
Specializing in primitive rug hooking, miniature punchneedle, & rug punch needle, we strive to make your experience a pleasant one.
The shop is filled with over 200 textured bolts of wool as well as a wide assortment of hand dyed wools for rug hooking, applique or whatever you desire wool for.
If you are planning a visit to the shop you will find in addition to all of our own original patterns, we also carry punch needle patterns from Country Stitches, Hooked On Rugs, Stone & thread, Threads that Bind, etc..as well as hand dyed embroidery flosses from The Weeks Dye Works, Gentle Arts & Valdani Threads. For those of you that got hooked on punching with the Medici wool threads, with the exception of a few colors, we still have their complete line. Medici is going out of business so get them while supplies last.
We carry many more supplies, most of which you will not be able to find on our supplies page such as rug hooking frames in 2 different sizes, wool cutters, cutter blades, Miller Hooks, linen, monks cloth, weavers cloth, gingher off-set scissors, roving for needle felting, felting needles, a wide assortment of books & offcoarse, rughooking & rug punching patterns from Spruce Ridge Designs, Hooked on Rugs, The Woolley Fox, Vermont Folk Rugs, Beverly ConWay, etc...
Yarns, yarns, yarns. Light weights for punching with the fine tip Oxford punchneedle to hand dyed rug yarn for punching with the wider tip needle or just to bind your rugs with.
