Classes

With the passing of another year and one approaching us I hope to find all of you well.

With the Holidays behind us winter really seems to set in and makes us feel like we need to begin again with resolutions of being better, fitter, healthier and happier.

One of my hopes for the New Year is to be able to consentrate more on what I love to do rather than what I have to do. This year I've decided to put less time into shows and more into my studio. I hope to be able to have more specialty classes and also to perhaps take some.

 I have a regular hookin scheduled for every other Thursday from 10:30am to 1:30 pm  and

I will also have a Saturday hookin once a month at 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

The Thursday hookins for January are January 5th and January 19th.

The Saturday hookin for January is January 28th.

 I have a beginners rug hooking class scheduled for January 14th. We will be doing the little posie mat on my beginners pattern page. The kit with all the wool cut, pattern on linen and wool for the braided edge is $45.00. The braided edge will be tought on February 11th. Snow dates for these two classes are January 21st and February 25th. Not included is a hoop or frame to hook on and a hook. They are available in the studio for purchase or bring your own. Braid aids are also available for purchase.

Hookins for February will be on Thursday February 2nd and Saturday February 16th.

February's Saturday hookin will be on Saturday February 18th.

That Saturday those who signed up for Therese Shicks 3 D sheep will also be expected to have your sheep hooked and ready for assembly so get hooking ladies.

Mach's Thursday hookins are Thursday March 2nd, 15th and 29th. I havent yet scheduled a March Saturday hookin. There are a few wonderful antique shows that I would love to attend so I will have to find out those dates and work around them.

Hookins are very informal and all level hookers are welcome.

Please contact me for directions and availability. 

The shop is open by chance or appointment except on those specific class days. You may just drop in during those times.
